Ferrari's most extreme machine to date...

At home on the racetrack - Enzo based FXX is trackday car only

Yes I know its not even road worthy nor will it ever go into production but I just had to get a Ferrari in here somewhere. As it happens the purely track based FXX is the only car from the Italian marque that actually fit’s the criteria of this website. Surprising when you consider Ferrari to be the first thing which comes to mind when you say the word super car.

Still the most famous car manufacturer in the world know how to make a car, be it road worthy or not and the FXX is no exception. Based on the 220mph production Enzo, the FXX uses the same V12 in the Enzo but is tuned to produce around 800bhp.

With the exception of the companies F1 car the FXX is the most advanced machine ever built at Maranello. It features a gear box which offers similar shifts as their multi championship winning F1 car. Ferrari have been very vague about any sort of performance figures for now but considering this car purely designed for the track we can expect some pretty astonishing acceleration figures and no doubt an impressive max.

If you're interested you’ll actually need to apply for the FXX and the entrance into several championships that the package offers. Ferrari will rigorously go through application to ensure only the right people get their hands on their prized possession, of which around only 20 will be built. If you do happen to be successful expect to pay one and a half million Euro for the all inclusive package. But dont forget you won't be able to drive it home.
